Caorle and the Blue Flag

Distinction that reflects quality and sustainability of beach tourism in Caorle

The Blue Flag is a distinction issued by FEE (The Foundation for Environmental Education). It is an international organization that promotes sustainable development by means of increasing awareness of the need to educate people in matters of environment protection.

All beaches in Caorle are constantly awarded the Blue Flag. Bandiera Blu, as the Italians call it, is a guarantee in respect to water quality, safety, quality of services, environmental education and information, environmental management.

All stretches of sand and marinas in Caorle can boast of the Blue Flag. Spiaggia di Levante and Spiaggia di Ponente, the beach in Porto Santa Margherita, the beach in Duna Verde and the beach in Brussa are all awarded the Blue Flag.
